In January, shots rang out on 119th Avenue in Dawson Creek. Neighbours told CJDC TV News that 4 shots were fired at the house. Witnesses say that a car sped off followed by the sound of broken glass.
CJDC-TV News confirmed that West was one of the occupants of the home.
The Dawson Creek RCMP would like to remind the public to report illegal firearm, ammunition and weapon activity to police.
After being charged, West was released from police custody pending his next scheduled court appearance.
