The Dawson Creek RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle that was allegedly involved in striking a pedestrian.
On March 18th at approximately 2:00pm, police responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle near a gas station at 8th Street and 110th Avenue.
The victim was walking, when a vehicle leaving the gas station onto 8th street allegedly struck him, knocking him into traffic. The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver briefly stopped but quickly left the scene after striking the pedestrian.
The vehicle in question is believed to be an older model white Chevrolet Tahoe with black or steel rims, driven by a female driver.
