Have you ever wanted to become a police officer? Now is your chance as recruiters with the RCMP are coming to Fort St John.
Mounties say the interactive opportunities they have planned are a good way for the public to learn more about what a career with the RCMP and what becoming a Mountie looks like.
On Thursday, April 10, RCMP recruiters will be at the Northern Lights College at 3:00pm for a career presentation. There will be opportunities to ask questions for students and anyone on campus who is interested in learning more.
From April 11th to the 13th police are inviting everyone to find their booth at the Fort St John Trade Show. Anyone who is interested will be able to ask questions about policing and the requirements needed to start a career with the RCMP.
The final opportunity is on Sunday, April 13, at 6:00pm, when RCMP recruiters will present a two-hour information session at the Fort St John RCMP detachment.
You will have the chance to hear about the variety of opportunities within the RCMP and the details of the recruiting process including requirements and expectations for applying to become a Mountie.
Recruiters request that potential attendees for the information session at the detachment register prior to attendance but registration is not mandatory. Register for the presentation here
