Police are asking for the public’s help in the death of Emily Ogden. The BC RCMP are looking to retrace Ogden’s last steps before she was murdered.

RCMP are asking for the public for information about Ogden’s whereabouts leading up to her death. A press release last week, described the death as suspicious.

“On Monday, April 14, 2025, the Dawson Creek RCMP located human remains and a suspicious death investigation was initiated. The death is now being treated as a homicide,” said Staff Sergeant Kris Clark of the BC RCMP.

The RCMP is now identifying the victim as 24-year-old Emily Ogden in an effort to advance their investigation. Emily had been reported missing out of Fort St. John on March 29, 2025.

“We would like to know if anyone saw or heard from Emily during the time she was reported missing, until the discovery of her body,” said Clark.

CJDC TV News has learned that Ogden’s body was discovered near 231 Road in Arras.

Two suspects were brought in for questioning after Ogden’s body was discovered. The pair were both released without being charged.

The male questioned is known to police. He was also the target of a violent home invasion on 107th Avenue in February 2024.Odgen was charged by police in connection to that incident.

Ogden was reported missing on March 21st, 2025 in Lloydminster, Alberta. After being located, she was reported missing once again, this time by police in Fort St. John on April 10th, 2025.

Sources tell CJDC TV News that Ogden’s murder is being connected to the drug war in Dawson Creek, that has seen 10 people murdered in the past 2 years.
