Vista Radio has launched three radio stations serving Fort St. John and Dawson Creek.
General Manager Amy Titley said the debut of 98.5 GO FM, 101.5 The Goat, and The Ranch 890 AM marks “a powerful new era for radio in Northeastern BC. This is where listeners can enjoy a full spectrum of music, conversation, and community engagement tailored specifically to the Peace.”
Here are the new stations and their formats: 98.5 GO FM – Fort St. John’s Feel good pop music with a mix of ‘90s, 2000s, and today’s biggest hits. 101.5 The Goat – Rock is back in Fort St. John. 890 AM The Ranch – Dawson Creek - The Ranch delivers the best in country music.
In Fort St. John, 98.5 GO FM and 101.5 The Goat are being re-branded after Bounce FM and Move FM were sold to Vista Radio.
Titley adds, “This isn’t just about launching new stations—it’s about building strong, local relationships. From Fort St. John to Dawson Creek and the entire Peace Region, our goal is to be more than just a voice on the dial—we want to be the voice of the community daily.”
The new stations are part of Vista Radio’s expansion to become Canada’s 2nd largest commercial radio broadcaster with the acquisition of 21 properties formerly owned by Bell Media in British Columbia.
Bell Media is the parent company of CJDC TV News.
