Fort St. John RCMP looking for man with long and violent criminal history

Fort St. John RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a 35-year-old man currently wanted on multiple warrants.

The charges against Gavin James Lee Davis include flight from police, dangerous operation of a conveyance, two counts of careless storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, two counts of breach of release order, and possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

Davis is being described as an Indigenous male, standing 5′ 11″ tall, and weighs approximately 243 pounds. Police say he has black hair, brown eyes, and several distinctive tattoos, including “Payden” written across his throat, “Drake Davis” vertically on his right outer forearm, a cross with wings graphic on his right inner forearm, and “PAY DAY” inscribed on his knuckles.

Davis has connections to Northern B.C., the Lower Mainland, and Northern Alberta and is known to carry firearms, according to authorities.

The Fort St. John RCMP continue to investigate and are urging anyone who sees Davis not to approach him but to contact their nearest police detachment immediately.
